Audition Requirements

The Cache Symphony Orchestra, as an all-volunteer community-based organization, invites and welcomes new members from the community to join if they meet basic performance standards. Both young musicians who have finished high school and more experienced musicians who play string, wind, brass, and percussion instruments are eligible. In order to maintain the musical integrity, technical proficiency, and  demands of the performance schedule, an audition is required for admission. Auditions are held three times a year: August, January, May; or they may be granted by special request and as circumstances require. Interested musicians should contact the conductor, Dr. Mark Emile, for further information and to arrange an audition. mark.emile@usu.edu
